• At Sam's Dog Grooming your beloved pets will never be caged. The front of the parlour is penned in for security and in most cases the dogs are not restrained. We have custom made hook and harnesses that are available within the pen if needed for restraining difficult dogs making the grooming experience more pleasurable for all the dogs. We also have a separate room for dogs in season or if your dog needs segregating for some other reason.

• No dogs are refused. We cater for all dogs including difficult and aggressive dogs. If your current dog groomer is no longer able to groom your dog then we would welcome your dog at Sam's Dog Grooming. We would however be grateful if you could please warn us at time of booking if your dog is aggressive. We may be required to use a muzzle on your dog in the interests of staff safety.

• No bookings are turned down. If you want your grooming appointment in 10 days time or in 10 minutes time we never turn our customers away. Our experienced staff work under flexible arrangements meaning that we can normally groom your dog at short notice subject to demand.

• Best Prices. We offer the most competitive rates for dog groomers services in the Blackpool and Fylde area. We are able to maintain our low prices because of the efficiency and experience of our friendly staff that will have your dog groomed fully and ready to collect within a few hours normally before lunchtime. This saves you money and frees your time for other things.

• Custom made dog bath facilities. At Sam's Dog Grooming we have custom made dog bathing facilities that allows your dog to be bathed higher up relative to the groomer which is less intimidating and more pleasurable for your dog.

• For those that have busy lifestyles and work commitments we are also open on Saturday mornings

• We offer a free local collection and return service in the Blackpool and Fylde area. This has been very popular with our elderly and disabled customers. The dog collection service is subject to transport limitations and is therefore offered on a "first come, first served" basis.

  

• Professional equipment. At Sam's Dog Grooming we only use professional dog groomers equipment. Our clippers and scissors are serviced and sharpened regularly and replaced as necessary. Poorly maintained equipment can lead to skin conditions and irritation of your dog. We use freestanding dryers in the open and all dogs are finished by hand. We do not use the controversial "drying cupboards" which have for many other dog groomers caused fatalities.

• Custom made workbenches for grooming. We no longer use dog grooming tables as we believe that they are frightening for your dog due to the exposed sides and have been dangerous to many pets if they have panicked and fallen off. Our workbenches are built back to the walls allowing your dog the much needed total vision of their surroundings to give them a greater feeling of security.

• Unlike many other dog groomers salons all our grooming is done in the front of the shop in view of our customers and the general public. We welcome any visitors to come and see us work and observe our best practices.

• In addition to dog groomers services we are also able to provide an large range of pet accessories at competitive prices. We have an extensive list of wholesale providers so if you are looking for something in particular please ask us first before paying high street prices. Please note we do not supply livestock or pet foods.

• Our customers always come back! We value all our customers and have built great personal relationships with not only our customers but also their dogs.
